CVE-2025-67748Public exploit

Code execution via omitted pty blocklist entry

Published Dec 16, 2025 · Updated Dec 16, 2025

Code injection in Trail of Bits Fickling before 0.1.6 allows attackers to execute arbitrary code through a crafted pickle file. The UnsafeImports analysis omits pty from its unsafe-module blocklist, so a pty.spawn call resolved by STACK_GLOBAL and invoked by REDUCE is labeled LIKELY_SAFE. Exploitation requires a user or system to trust that verdict and deserialize the file, executing code with that process's privileges.
