CVE-2025-67745Network attack vector

Backup key disclosure via unmasked restore logging

Published Dec 18, 2025 · Updated Dec 18, 2025

Information disclosure in Aiven MyHoard 1.0.1 through versions before 1.3.0 allows remote authenticated users to read backup encryption keys from logs. The _switch_basebackup_if_possible method passes the complete earlier_backup mapping to the logger without masking basebackup_info.encryption_key. Exposure requires selection of an earlier backup during restoration and access to the emitted service logs; the disclosed key compromises backup confidentiality.
