CVE-2025-67727Public exploitNetwork attack vector

CI command execution via privileged npm lifecycle scripts

Published Dec 12, 2025 · Updated Dec 12, 2025

Code injection in the Parse Server repository before 8.6.0-alpha.2 allows remote attackers to execute commands in GitHub Actions. The .github/workflows/ci-performance.yml workflow uses pull_request_target, checks out fork-controlled code, and runs npm lifecycle scripts with a write-capable token. Exploitation requires a public fork with GitHub Actions enabled and a crafted pull request; deployed Parse Server instances are unaffected, while repository secrets and issue or pull-request integrity are exposed.
