Unauthorized data disclosure via case-sensitive path parameters
Published Dec 11, 2025 · Updated Dec 11, 2025
Authorization bypass in Form.io before 3.5.7 and 4.0.0-rc.1 through 4.4.2 allows remote attackers to read protected API data. The URL parameter parser stores path keys with attacker-supplied casing, while authorization logic expects normalized lowercase keys. The affected configuration must expose a protected endpoint whose routing or permission checks diverge on mixed-case path parameters.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
