Victim-browser script execution via stored malicious files
Published Dec 31, 2025 · Updated Dec 31, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in Esri ArcGIS Server 10.9.1 through 11.4 allows remote attackers to execute script in a victim's browser. In some configurations, an unauthenticated network request stores a file containing unneutralized script that ArcGIS Server later serves to a browser. No account is required to plant the file, but a victim must open content that causes the stored code to execute in the ArcGIS Server origin.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
