CVE-2025-67685Network attack vector

Authenticated internal request proxying via unvalidated web-socket URI

Published Jan 13, 2026 · Updated Jan 13, 2026

SSRF in Fortinet FortiSandbox 4.0, 4.2, 4.4, and 5.0.0 through 5.0.4 allows remote authenticated users to proxy internal requests. The web-socket handler accesses resources from a supplied URI without properly validating its destination, permitting requests to internal plaintext endpoints. Administrator-level access is required, and the impact is limited to reading or modifying data reachable through those HTTP endpoints.
