Authenticated file-existence disclosure via path traversal
Published Dec 18, 2025 · Updated Dec 18, 2025
Path traversal in Advantech WebAccess/SCADA 9.2.1 allows remote authenticated users to detect arbitrary file existence. The published advisory does not identify the affected endpoint or disclose how its path handler fails to confine attacker-controlled pathnames. Low-privileged authenticated network access is required, and the demonstrated consequence is limited to a file-existence oracle rather than file-content disclosure or modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
