Authenticated file disclosure via workspace path traversal
Published Dec 10, 2025 · Updated Dec 10, 2025
Path traversal in Redpen - Pipeline Reporter for Jira 1.054.v7b_9517b_6b_202 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read controller files. The plugin fails to validate the configured workspace directory before artifact uploads and, without distributed-build support, reads artifacts from the Jenkins controller. Item/Configure permission and an artifact-upload workflow are required; a crafted workspace path exposes files from the controller workspace directory to Jira.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
