Encrypted-password disclosure via unredacted view fields
Published Dec 10, 2025 · Updated Dec 10, 2025
Missing authorization in Jenkins 2.540 and earlier and LTS 2.528.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to view encrypted password values. View rendering omits the permission check that should redact password fields when a plugin page neither checks View/Configure nor sets readOnlyMode. View/Read permission and such a plugin page are required, and Jenkins reported no known exploitable implementation at publication.
