CVE-2025-6759

SYSTEM privilege escalation via leaked process handle

Published Jul 8, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026

Improper privilege management in Citrix Virtual Delivery Agent for Windows before 2503 allows local users to gain SYSTEM privileges. The user-owned CtxGfx.exe process inherits a PROCESS_ALL_ACCESS handle to SYSTEM-owned GfxMgr.exe, enabling handle duplication to create a SYSTEM process. The issue also affects 2402 LTSR through 2402 LTSR CU2, requires a low-privileged local session, and grants control of the affected host.
