CVE-2025-67508Network attack vector

Arbitrary command execution via unescaped credential values

Published Dec 12, 2025 · Updated Dec 12, 2025

Command injection in Gardener gardenctl-v2 before 2.12.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands via crafted credentials. The provider-env path embeds infrastructure Secret credential values in generated Fish or PowerShell output without separating them safely from shell syntax. Exploitation requires Gardener project administrative access and a service operator to evaluate the generated output, after which commands run on the operator device.
