Unauthenticated file overwrite via traversal filename
Published Dec 10, 2025 · Updated Dec 10, 2025
Path traversal in PipesHub before 0.1.0-beta allows remote attackers to overwrite service-accessible files through an unauthenticated upload. The converter route joins the supplied filename to a temporary directory without normalization, so ../ segments escape that directory before LibreOffice runs. Network reachability is sufficient; writes run as the service account and can corrupt application code, plant executable content, or interrupt the service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
