Database read and write via unbound category ID
Published Dec 9, 2025 · Updated Dec 10, 2025
SQL injection in WeGIA 3.5.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read and alter database data through id_categoria. editar_categoria.php passes the request-derived id_categoria value directly into a SELECT statement instead of binding it as data. Access requires a logged-in account with the material-and-assets category-edit permission, and the published proof of concept discloses the database version.
