CVE-2025-67493Network attack vector

Authenticated privilege escalation via LDAP query injection

Published Dec 17, 2025 · Updated Dec 17, 2025

LDAP injection in Homarr before 1.45.3 allows remote authenticated users to gain privileges and access other users’ groups. The LDAP authentication flow inserts crafted account input into a user-and-group search without rejecting LDAP filter characters, then accepts a query that matches multiple users. An instance must use LDAP authentication, and the attacker must already have a user account; successful exploitation crosses group boundaries.
