Unauthenticated admin access via trusted username cookie
Published Jun 4, 2026 · Updated Jun 4, 2026
Authentication bypass in Neterbit NW-431F Router 20241014-IR03 and earlier allows remote attackers to access administrator functions. The web management interface trusts the client-supplied username cookie as proof of identity, so setting it to admin grants an unauthenticated request administrator privileges. Network reachability to the management interface is required; exploitation exposes administrative functions, but the published evidence does not identify specific commands or resulting device changes.
