Unauthenticated service interruption via unbounded SVG rendering
Published Jan 5, 2026 · Updated Jan 5, 2026
Denial of service in EverShop 2.1.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to interrupt the application via crafted SVG image requests. The GET /images API processes use-element shadow trees and pattern tiles without bounding their height or dimensions, causing unbounded resource consumption. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the resulting exhaustion can make the entire application server unavailable.
