Stored XSS in the Page Settings module of Piranha CMS 12.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in visitors' browsers. The module stores Excerpt input and later renders it in page previews and published pages without sanitizing HTML or JavaScript. Page-create or page-edit permission is required, and execution occurs when another user previews or visits the affected page, exposing that browser session to attacker-controlled script actions.
