Authenticated data disclosure via missing API authorization
Published Jan 26, 2026 · Updated Jan 26, 2026
Broken access control in Continuous Software aangine 2025.2 allows remote authenticated users to read sensitive administrative data. The affected backend API endpoints omit role and scope validation for JWTs when serving templates, job listings, logs, and portfolio records. A low-privileged account can call the admin-restricted endpoints directly; the demonstrated consequence is disclosure, not data modification or service interruption.
