CVE-2025-6725Network attack vector

Session-context script execution via unsafe PdfViewer re-rendering

Published Jul 2, 2025 · Updated Jul 2, 2025

Cross-site scripting in Progress Telerik and Kendo UI PdfViewer components allows attackers to execute JavaScript in a user's session. When a crafted document is loaded, PdfViewer re-renders document-controlled content into the DOM without adequate neutralization. Exploitation requires access to load the document and user interaction with a tool that triggers the re-render, enabling session-context data access or page actions.
