JavaScript execution via unsanitized protocol URL input
Published Jan 23, 2026 · Updated Jan 23, 2026
Reflected XSS in ToDesktop Builder before 0.33.1 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript through a crafted protocol link. With the offline screen enabled, the custom URL protocol handler renders unsanitized user input from the protocol URL in the application's offline page. Exploitation requires a user to click the malicious link; injected JavaScript runs with access to the ToDesktop API and can open malicious pages.
