Local privilege escalation via permissive named-pipe ACLs

Improper privilege management in Chef InSpec through 5.23 and before 7.0.107 allows local users to assume its execution context. Its Windows named-pipe creation path applies default access controls that grant local users excessive pipe access, permitting interference with connection establishment. A low-privileged Windows account and successful manipulation of the pipe-connection process are required; success can elevate privileges or interrupt an InSpec run.
