Unauthenticated process crash via unbounded stack copy
Published Feb 3, 2026 · Updated Feb 3, 2026
Stack buffer overflow in TOTOLINK A950RG 4.1.2cu.5204_B20210112 allows remote attackers to crash the IPv6 configuration process. The setRadvdCfg handler in /lib/cste_modules/ipv6.so copies the user-controlled radvdinterfacename value into a fixed-size stack buffer with strcpy and no length check. Network access to the management interface is required; the published request demonstrates a process crash, but not code execution.
