Page creation via missing CSRF token validation
Published Dec 17, 2025 · Updated Dec 17, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in RiteCMS 3.1.0 allows remote attackers to create or edit pages through a crafted POST request. The admin.php page handler accepts state-changing POST requests without validating a per-request CSRF token and persists attacker-supplied page content. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator or editor to visit an attacker-controlled page or crafted link; the resulting content can support chained code execution or local file inclusion.
