Improper authorization in MongoDB Server 6.0 before 6.0.22, 7.0 before 7.0.19, and 8.0 before 8.0.7 allows remote authenticated users to read data. The $mergeCursors stage improperly handles a crafted aggregation pipeline, but MongoDB has not disclosed the omitted or incorrect authorization operation. A low-privileged authenticated database account and network access are required; exploitation exposes data outside that account's authorization.
