Remote crash via DATA_FRAG length underflow

Integer underflow in OpenDDS before 3.33.0 allows remote attackers to crash RTPS applications with a crafted DATA_FRAG submessage. RtpsSampleHeader::init subtracts the parsed byte count from the declared submessage extent without first ensuring the subtraction is nonnegative, converting the result to a huge unsigned length. Reachability requires an application to accept RTPS traffic; successful exploitation causes a segmentation fault and service interruption only.
