Authenticated database disclosure via unsafe report filters
Published Jan 15, 2026 · Updated Jan 15, 2026
SQL injection in InvoicePlane 1.6.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to extract arbitrary database data via report filters. Mdl_reports.php concatenates the minQuantity and maxQuantity POST values directly into a report SQL query without prepared statements or adequate sanitization. Any authenticated account can exploit error responses to read database contents; InvoicePlane assigns authenticated users the administrator role.
