CVE-2025-66924Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Stored script execution via unencoded item-kit name

Published Dec 17, 2025 · Updated Dec 17, 2025

Stored XSS in Open Source Point of Sale 3.4.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute script through a crafted item-kit name. The save endpoint persists the name parameter without adequate sanitization, and management and listing views render it without context-aware encoding. The published proof of concept requires an administrator to submit the payload and another authenticated user to view the item kit, letting the script read page-accessible data or issue actions as that user.
