Authenticated privilege escalation via missing role validation
Published Sep 2, 2025 · Updated Sep 2, 2025
Missing authorization in ATEN eco DC 1.2.115 allows remote authenticated users to escalate privileges through its web interface. The web request handler grants access to role-protected resources without validating the assigned role for each request. A valid account is required; exploitation reaches resources and operations that the account's assigned role normally protects.
