Browser script execution via reflected id parameter
Published Dec 23, 2025 · Updated Dec 23, 2025
Reflected XSS in TechStore 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript in a victim's browser through a crafted id query value. The /user_name endpoint inserts the id query parameter directly into its HTML response without contextual output encoding or sanitization. Exploitation requires a victim to open a crafted request, after which the script runs in the TechStore origin and can access or alter browser-visible data.
