Code execution via unvalidated PDF upload
Published Jan 7, 2026 · Updated Jan 7, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in Software AG ARIS 10.0.23.0.3587512 allows remote attackers to execute code through a crafted PDF. The File Upload API accepts a PDF or malware without validating its contents and makes the uploaded file available for another user to download. Execution requires user interaction: a user must download and open the attacker-supplied file, so the reported impact is client-side code execution rather than server-side execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
