Victim redirection via unsanitized conference descriptions
Published Dec 30, 2025 · Updated Dec 30, 2025
Stored HTML injection in TrueConf Server 5.5.2.10813 allows remote authenticated users to redirect victims through conference descriptions. The conference description renderer outputs attacker-supplied anchor markup without neutralization, letting product CSS classes create an invisible page-wide link. Conference create or edit access and a victim opening the Conference Info page and clicking are required; the bounded consequence is UI manipulation and redirection to an attacker-controlled site.
