Unauthenticated file upload via missing type validation
Published Aug 15, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in Bit Apps Bit Form before 2.20.4 allows remote attackers to write arbitrary files through published forms. The Advanced File Upload path stores submitted files without validating their types before placing them on the WordPress server. Exploitation requires Bit Form Pro to be active and a form containing that field to be published; an executable upload can enable code execution.
