Root-role disclosure via unchecked role-form lookup
Published Dec 22, 2025 · Updated Dec 22, 2025
Missing authorization in Youlai-boot 2.21.1 allows remote authenticated users to read root-role data through a crafted role-form request. SysRoleController.getRoleForm passes an attacker-selected roleId to roleService.getRoleForm, which retrieves and converts the matching entity without checking whether it represents the root role. Exploitation requires valid non-root access and a known or guessed root-role identifier; the grounded consequence is disclosure of root-role information, not role modification.
