Published Jul 4, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Nikel Easy restaurant menu manager 2.0.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts via a shortcode. The nsc_eprm_menu_link shortcode passes the user-controlled linktext attribute into generated anchor HTML without sanitizing input or escaping output. Contributor-level access is required to save the shortcode, and the script executes when a visitor opens the injected page.
