CVE-2025-6670Network attack vector

Unauthorized admin actions via state-changing GET requests

Published Nov 18, 2025 · Updated Nov 18, 2025

CSRF in WSO2 Carbon console admin services allows remote attackers to perform unauthorized actions through an authenticated user's browser. The event processor uses GET for state changes, so SameSite=Lax sends the session cookie during cross-site top-level navigation. Exploitation requires an authenticated user to follow a crafted link and can modify data, change accounts, or perform other administrative actions.
