Unauthenticated database manipulation via unsanitized brandId
Published Jun 25, 2025 · Updated Jun 26, 2025
SQL injection in code-projects Inventory Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to access and alter database data via brandId. The fetchSelectedBrand.php endpoint places the POST brandId value directly into a database query without validation or parameter binding. Unauthenticated network access to the endpoint is sufficient; demonstrated boolean-, error-, time-, and UNION-based payloads can read or change application database contents.
