Information disclosure via unchecked EMF bitmap length
Published Mar 17, 2026 · Updated Mar 17, 2026
Out-of-bounds read in Canva Affinity before 3.1.0 allows attackers to disclose process memory through a crafted EMF file. The EMR_STRETCHBLT parser derives a remaining bitmap length from cbBitsSrc without validating it against the enclosing record before memcpy reads the buffer. A user must open the malicious file on Windows; the over-read exposes adjacent process memory and can terminate the application.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
