Code execution via unchecked GIF buffer copy

Heap-based buffer overflow in PDF-XChange Editor 10.5.2.395 allows remote attackers to execute code via a crafted GIF file. The GIF parser copies an attacker-controlled length of data into a fixed-length heap buffer without validating that the input fits. Exploitation requires the target to open a malicious file or visit a page that supplies one, and successful code runs in the current process context.
