Code execution via unvalidated CTL file parsing
Published Dec 11, 2025 · Updated Dec 11, 2025
Out-of-bounds write in AzeoTech DAQFactory 20.7 (Build 2555) allows remote attackers to execute code via a crafted CTL file. The CTL file parser fails to validate user-supplied data before writing beyond the end of an allocated buffer, corrupting process memory. Exploitation requires the target to open the file or visit a malicious page, and code runs in the current process; a crash is also possible.
