CVE-2025-66589

Information disclosure or crash via crafted document

Published Dec 11, 2025 · Updated Dec 11, 2025

Out-of-bounds read in AzeoTech DAQFactory 20.7 Build 2555 allows context-dependent attackers to disclose data or crash the application. The .ctl document handler reads beyond an allocated buffer when processing a crafted document; the exact parser and malformed field are undisclosed. Exploitation requires an active user to load an attacker-supplied .ctl file locally, bounding the reported effects to information disclosure and a process crash.
