Unauthenticated code execution via serialized profile ID
Published Dec 4, 2025 · Updated Jul 28, 2026
PHP object injection in UNA CMS 9.0.0-RC1 through 14.0.0-RC4 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code without authentication. The BxBaseMenuSetAclLevel::getCode() method URL-decodes a nonnumeric profile_id POST value and passes it directly to PHP unserialize(). A crafted AJAX request to menu.php can instantiate a Guzzle file-cookie gadget that writes a PHP web shell, enabling command execution as the web service account.
