Share metadata disclosure via unchecked numeric identifiers
Published Dec 5, 2025 · Updated Dec 5, 2025
Authorization bypass in Nextcloud Tables before 0.8.9, 0.9.6, and 1.0.1 allows remote attackers to read table-sharing metadata. The getShare API accepts a user-controlled numeric share ID and returns the matching table, recipients, and permissions without enforcing manage access. Network reachability and victim interaction are required; disclosure is limited to share relationships and permission settings.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
