Memory disclosure via unchecked EMF point count
Published Mar 17, 2026 · Updated Mar 17, 2026
Out-of-bounds read in Canva Affinity before 3.1.0 allows context-dependent attackers to disclose memory via a crafted EMF file. The EMR_POLYBEZIERTO parser trusts Count when iterating the aPoints array even when 0x1C plus eight times Count exceeds recordSize. Exploitation requires user interaction with the crafted local file and exposes process memory while also allowing an application crash.
