CVE-2025-66493

Code execution via unchecked AcroForm object use

Published Dec 19, 2025 · Updated Dec 19, 2025

Use-after-free in Foxit PDF Reader and PDF Editor 2025.2.1, 14.0.1, and 13.2.1 and earlier on Windows allows remote attackers to execute code. AcroForm handling performs operations on an object without confirming that it still exists, allowing access through a pointer to freed memory. An affected Windows user must open a malicious PDF or visit a malicious page; successful exploitation runs code in the current process.
