Unauthenticated service interruption via unbounded REST collections
Published Dec 10, 2025 · Updated Dec 11, 2025
Resource exhaustion in XWiki Platform allows remote attackers to interrupt service through unbounded REST collection responses. The /rest/wikis/xwiki/spaces resource retrieves every space, effectively every page, without applying a response-size or query limit. No authentication is required, while the resulting slowdown or memory exhaustion depends on the wiki's page count and memory configuration.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
