Stored URL injection in LibreChat before 0.8.1 allows remote authenticated users to expose shared-chat viewers to attacker-controlled resources. The parseCompactConvo path retained a client-supplied iconURL in conversation data instead of deriving the value from trusted model specifications. Exploitation requires an attacker-created chat and a viewer opening its shared link; the demonstrated result is a browser request to an untrusted host and resulting privacy loss.
