Information disclosure via U3D out-of-bounds read
Published Jun 25, 2025 · Updated Jun 30, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in PDF-XChange Editor 10.5.2.395 allows remote attackers to disclose sensitive information through a U3D file. The U3D parser fails to validate user-controlled data before reading past the end of an allocated object. Exploitation requires a user to visit a malicious page or open a malicious file; the disclosed process memory can support a separate code-execution exploit.
