Memory corruption in Autodesk 3ds Max 2026 allows context-dependent attackers to execute code by inducing a user to import a crafted TGA file. The TGA parser corrupts process memory while 3ds Max links or imports the crafted image; Autodesk has not disclosed the responsible routine or malformed field. Exploitation requires user interaction and runs attacker-controlled code with the privileges of the current 3ds Max process.
