Stored script execution via unescaped group display name
Published Dec 1, 2025 · Updated Dec 2, 2025
Stored XSS in the Grav Admin plugin before 1.11.0-beta.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in an administrator's browser. The acl_picker.html.twig template inserts data[readableName] as group.readableName into a Selectize option without HTML escaping. Administrative access to create or edit a group is required, and the payload runs when another user opens an affected user profile, enabling actions in that browser session.
