CVE-2025-66311Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Stored XSS via unescaped taxonomy field rendering

Published Dec 1, 2025 · Updated Dec 2, 2025

Stored XSS in the Admin plugin before 1.11.0-beta.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through page metadata. The page editor stores metadata and taxonomy values in YAML frontmatter, and Selectize renders their text without HTML escaping. Exploitation requires high-privilege Admin Panel access and a victim to reopen or render the page, after which the script runs in that user's browser session.
